DESCRIPTION:
French, "Louis XV Doucine" style case 8 day carriage timepiece with alarm and arabic number white enmael dial, c1900
CONDITION:
good running order, ticks and the case is in nice condition and very attractive with most of gilding on the fancy work intact. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. Beveled glass panels are fine. A picture of this case style can be found on page 171 in "Carriage clocks, their history and development", by Charles Allix. Ht 6.25"
